Becoming a victim of domestic violence is one of the most soul-destroying events a person can survive.  Victims typically lose all confidence in themselves, in others and suffer PTSD, insecurity, anxiety, and depression.  Now, imagine a place where these overwhelmed victims can come to heal – a place where it is quiet and serene and populated with animals who judge you only on the kindness you have to offer them.
